Fifty, Fashion, and That’s Amore: A Sneak Peek at My Birthday Look

My 50th birthday is more than a celebration—it’s a declaration. A statement of joy, strength, and style. And the theme TK chose that represents me well That’s Amore—where fashion and art collide in a swirl of Italian romance, bold color, and unapologetic glamour. Think Gucci, Michelangelo’s David,  touches of vibrant colors. Roman goddesses, Venetian flair, and a whole lot of fabulous.

And yes, my outfit is absolutely living up to the theme.

Let’s start with the dress. I’ll be wearing the Jane Dress in Cerise by Julia Amory, a stunning silhouette in a fiery red hue that embodies passion, confidence, and elegance. It’s a color that doesn’t whisper—it sings, perfectly in tune with the romantic Italian energy of the evening. The fabric made of 100% silk dupioni , the fit is flattering, and the vibe? Pure Dolce Vita.

But the real magic is in the details…

Around my neck, I’ll be layering two incredible statement necklaces—one with clear, oversized jewel-like stones that catch the light like Venetian glass, and another with vivid aqua blue gemstones that echo the unmistakable aqua blue soles of my Betsey Johnson heels. The combination is bold, luxe, and a little unexpected—which is exactly how I feel stepping into this next chapter.

Let’s talk about those heels: bright red, embroidered with elegant lace, perched on a sculptural heel with a striking teal bottom. These Betsey Johnson slingbacks are like a piece of wearable art—flirty, fierce, and designed to make an entrance (and a few heads turn). No hearts here—just all heat.

Paired with a textured clutch and a swipe of red lipstick, my whole look is a love letter to Italy, to fashion, and to finally feeling at home in my own skin. Turning 50 isn’t just fabulous—it’s freeing. I feel powerful. I feel playful. I feel like me.

I can’t wait to dance the night away surrounded by love, art, beauty, and the people who bring joy into my life. Get ready to raise a glass, because this birthday isn’t just a party—

It’s a moment. And I’m dressed for every second of it.
